Art Club

The main mission of the Art Club is to develop the artistic talents and creativity of its members. Members will be trained in various arts processes to hone their observation skills and imagination.

Selected members will submit artworks for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Visual Arts Exhibition once every 2 years. They will also be enrolled in various art competitions or exhibitions for exposure, and visit art exhibitions as part of their learning and development.

ICT Club

The ICT Club aims to promote the use of ICT in pupils’ learning and recreation. Pupils are taught ICT skills covering the two main areas: Microsoft Office Applications (eg. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and multimedia presentation (video making and editing). Through these web-based activities, pupils learn the basics of digital literacy and the principles of Cyber Wellness.

Our pupils are also given opportunities to express themselves creatively through platforms such as the Schools Digital Media Awards Competition where they bagged the Gold and Silver Awards for their video entries titled “So You Think You Know” (2011), “Do The Right Thing” (2012), and "My School Days, My Defining Moments" (2013) as well as the National Infocomm Security Competition (NISEC) in 2014, where our school team, Digital Heroes, emerged as the champion in the category of Multimedia Design.

Library Club

The Library Club develops our pupils to provide quality library services. Through practical hands-on training and mentoring, our student librarians will grow to be well-versed in the relevant skills knowledge and will possess the dispositions required of librarians. In addition, they will be given opportunities to play the role of actual librarians. They will not only learn how to recommend books to library-users based on reading levels and age groups, but also in writing good book reviews. These skills and knowledge acquired will be useful in pupils’ personal development.
