Alumni as Fuchun Play Day Guest of Honour

As one of the line-up of activities to mark Fuchun Primary’s 30th anniversary, we invited one of our former pupils, Mr Edmund Lau Jia Hao, who held the position of a Prefect Leader when he was in Primary 6, to grace our annual Fuchun Play Day on 13 February 2015. Edmund’s presence lent special significance to the occasion as he credited part of his success to the holistic education that he had received in Fuchun Primary.

Edmund, who is a recipient of the Public Service Commission (PSC) Singapore Government Scholarship (Open), is currently serving National Service in the army as a Second Lieutenant. Throughout his primary, secondary and post-secondary school years, Edmund has indeed displayed exemplary conduct, achieved stellar academic performance, as well as made numerous contributions to the society.

In his address, Edmund encouraged all Fuchunians to uphold the values of resilience and respect, and being grateful towards people who have made a positive impact in their lives.
